Private individual chess lessons are available for those who are unable to attend any of the above classes.

Congratulations to all the 48 members of the ASYC State Chess Team in achieving 3rd Place Team in the K-6 Reserve, K-3 Unrated, & K-6 Unrated sections as well as 4th Place Team in the K-9 section, and 6th Place in the K-1 section in Southern California Super States Championship Tournament held in Valencia on March 24 & 25, 2012.
ASYC members can check out their current USCF rating as well as pictures from the Southern California Super States Championship & upcoming National Tournaments by clicking the Chess Ratings-USCF tab located on the top of this page.
Congratulations to all the 44 members of the ASYC National Chess Team in achieving 5th Place Team in the K-3 & K-9 sections as well as 8th Place Team in the K-6 section in the National Youth Action West Tournament held in Irvine on Dec. 10 & 11, 2011.
